Yaymaker (formerly Paint Nite) is an event experience company where people across North America laugh, connect, and paint at
local bars. The atmosphere is fun, upbeat and creative.
Hosting more than 300,000 events in 1,400 cities, Paint Nite saw potential in these one-of-a-kind experiences. Expanding their offering beyond painting events, it was time to rebrand.

The Original Paint Nite
Paint Nite Rebrand
Tank Design agency were given the challenge to reband Paint Nite, and Yaymaker was born. The completion of this nationwide rebrand was brought in-house; as graphic designer and lead illustrator I sketched, designed, refined and delivered the following materials:
Brand style guide
Illustration is the main method of communication for the Yaymaker brand. The style consists of organically drawn shapes, bristle textures and easy to understand subject matter. These illustrations are not-so-serious in nature, and must be used in order to communicate craft and playfulness.
The 60+ brand style guide serves as a guide for licenced local artists to host events with consistent implementation and clear communication of the Yaymaker brand.
Paint Nite became Yaymaker in February 2019. Being a part of this transition, I have produced digital work for both brands. This includes: multiple offsite display ads, Facebook sponsored ads, Instagram posts, and email promotions. I also worked with the tools team to redesign the website homepage, making the user experience easier for the customer by highlighting events happening in their local area.
