In memory of Ben
Not all superheroes wear capes.
Ben Woodhart worked as a paramedic for the London Ambulance Service (LAS); he was a father of three. He sadly passed away in May, 2020. Ben's side hustle was design; he was known for creating amazing infographics for LAS. I was asked by his colleagues to pay tribute to Ben by creating a portrait illustration in his memory.
After this, I wanted to show my appreciation for my best friends back in England working hard during the COVID-19 pandemic. Stressed and overworked, I hoped my illustrations would cheer them up. Each portrait has a light-hearted and playful style, expressing their personality.
